Reflect. Reset. Recharge.
Being mean to yourself is one of the easiest things to do in the world. You're your own worst critic. You hold yourself to a standard far greater than anyone else would understand, & when you feel that you've fallen short, you're mean, you talk down to yourself, & shut down.
Rinse.
Repeat.
Been there. Done that. Still do.
I mention this because when we reflect on our journeys, sometimes we think we haven't done enough. We think that what's been accomplished is simply "okay," but it can most definitely be "so much better." We appreciate the kind words from those who support us, but even after accepting the praise, we revert back to "I can still do more...& make it better."
Guess what?
You are human.
Seriously, I know it's mind-boggling, but it's true.
You are human.
& you have to stop putting so much unnecessary stress on yourself.
You're doing great.
A lot of times that I write my #LoveNotes, I find myself saying to you what I need to say to myself. This is one of those times. If no one else understands self-doubt or the nagging need to "do more, be better, push further" I understand it...immensely. So, I'm challenging you (& myself, of course) to make an effort as we enter this last week of September & start a new month.
Three R's.
(for my super Earthy-green friends, not the Three R's you're thinking of.)
Reflect.
Reset.
Recharge.
Here's how this works:
Get three separate index cards (or sticky's, paper, whatever you can write on!)
Write one "R" on each piece.
For Reflect: write at least five accomplishments you've had either this year so far or in the month of September. (think deeply!! no "on the surface" types of answers.)
For Reset: write at least five things you want to change or make better for the rest of the year or for the month of October. (bad habits, repair relationships, etc.)
For Recharge: write at least five things you are going to commit to to better yourself. (this is specific to you. how are you going to bring your light into your daily life? how are you going to "recharge" your spirit?)
You've been tagged.
God Speed on the challenge.

May your day be ever filled with love, light, and of course, an abundance of chicken tenders💜🌻✨
