I almost feel silly for telling you what I want
when you did not ask for my words…
But isn’t that what most humans do?
They speak, demand to be heard,
& don’t shut up until someone says something in return.
Damn…us humans.
So complex, & yet so simple in areas that
we end up making complex to follow suit for everything else.
Like, listen to me.
I’m trying to make that sentence complex when it doesn’t need to be.

In truth, I’m telling you what I want because I feel that others want some of these things, too…
But they won’t say it.

A concept for most who are too busy trying to respond to what I’ve just said that they completely ignore the words that have fallen from my lips
& have the nerve to ask me to repeat myself.

Of not having simple things
Authentic things
Love
Happiness.
I’m tired.
Of people apologizing for feeling how they feel
apologizing for being honest
Being who they choose to be.
I’m tired.
Of nonbelievers telling believers that we
“Live in a fantasy” because their minds
Are underdeveloped
& incapable of seeing past the brainwashing
& systematic oppressions they’re experiencing.
Damn…us humans.
With our privilege
& our excuses for how we respond & react to things
when people call us on our shit.
With our wants
With our selfishness
With our inconsideration.
“I didn’t ask for…”

To help me make this better.
